adage advanced intermediate lyrical technique
A beautiful lyrical combo that can be utilised for all levels. Assisted by Evie WoodallMusic: Listen Beyonce Junior/Beginner Level It is recommended to keep all the extensions a terre (on the ground ) for Juniors/ Beginners and focus on retaining the choreography from start to finish. You have plenty of time to work on getting high extensions. Right now you want to work on nice clean shapes, good posture and a remembering the steps. Intermediate Dancers This combo is perfect for intermediate dancers. Work on really trying to dance through your transitions. Advanced Dancers Although the combo may not be challenging for advanced dancers use it an an exercise/tool to work on precision of technique, quality of movement and musicality! Try to make your story real and sincere.TeachersPlease use this as an exercise to work technique or performance elements with your students. Adjust as required, it is now yours to do as you wish with! Enjoy!
Lyrical is one of my favourite styles of dance. It demands the discipline of ballet yet allows us more freedom of movement and expression.
In this series you will find some lyrical combinations that will help you explore your artistry and musical expression whilst giving you an opportunity to put your technique into working practise.
Over time I aim to bring you an array of lyrical styles each one creating their own challenge to you the dancer.
